Redwood Road from "R-2" to "R-511 )
AN ORP INA?,TC F AMENDING SECTION 51-1 2-2 OF THE REVISED
ORDINANCES OF SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH, 1965, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO
ZONING' AND FIXING OF ROUNDARTES OF USE DISTRICTS.
WHEREAS, in response to the request pertaining to zoning
initiated by Louis Priedheim, said petition. heinct known as
Petition No . 400-235 of 1984, the City Council of Salt Lake C�i:ty,
Utah, has held public hearings before its own bodv and before the
Planning Commission, and has taken into consideration citizen
testimony, filing and demographic details of the area and the
master plan as part of its own deliberation. Pursuant to these
deliberations, the Council has concluded that the proposed change
of property located at approximately 600 South and Redwood Road
from the existing Pesidential "R.-2" to a Residential "R-5" zoning
classification is appropriate for the development of the
community in that area; and
The Council. further concluded that the proposed change of
property located adjacent to such property and fronting on
Redwood Road from the existing Residential "R-h" to a Residential
"R-5" zoning classification is appropriate for the development of
the community in that area.

THEREFORE, the City Council. of Salt Lake City, Utah, herehy
adopts the following amendment to the Use District provisions of
Title 51 .
Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1 . That the Use District Map, as adopted by Section
51-12-2 , Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City , Utah , 1965, as
amended, relating to the fixing of boundaries of Use Districts,
be, and the same hereby is, AMFNDFD as follows :
Sec. 51 -12-2. Boundaries of Use Districts. That the
following described parcel of real property in Salt Lake City ,
Utah, presently zoned Residential "R-2" , located approximately in
the area of 600 South and Redwood Road is b.erehv rezoned to a
Residential "R-5" classification, and the Use District Map is
amended accor.di_naly.
Residential "R-2" to "R-519 :
Commencing at a noint in the north line of Arapahoe
Avenue, said point being 165 feet East of the east line
of Redwood Road and running thence East along the north
line of Arapahoe Avenue 524 .51 feet to a point 25 feet
west of the southwest corner of Lot 6, Bullock Suhclivi- pl�'!�
sion; thence North along a line parallel to the west
line of said Lot 6, a distance of 660.6 feet to a point 4 ti
on the north line of 600 South Street extended; thence
West 74 feet along the extended north line of 600 South
Street; thence North 64 feet; thence West 450.51 feet;
thence South 664.75 feet to the point of beginnina .
FURTHER, that the following described parcel of real
property in Salt Lake City , Utah, presently zoned Residential
"R-6" located approximately in the area of 600 South and Redwood
Road is hereby rezoner' to a RQsirienti_al "R-5" classification and
the Use District Map is amended accordingly.

SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon thirty
days after the date of its first publication.
