AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 20-29-6 (3 ) AND 20-29-6 ( a) OF
THE REVISED ORDINANCES OF SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH , 1965, AS AMENDED,
RELATING TO LICENSE AND BUSINESS REGULATION NON-PROFIT CLUBS AND
ASSOCIATIONS.
Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1 . That Sections 20-29-6 (3 ) and 20-29-6 (a) of the
Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, as amended,
relating to license and business regulation non-profit clubs and
associations, be, and the same hereby is amended as follows:
Sec. 20-29-6. Class "B" license.

( 3 ) Maintain food service and full restaurant kitchen
facilities and permit the sale and consumption of beer (whether
packaged , draft or sold in other containers) and intoxicating
liquors on the premises.

Sec. 20-29-6 (a) Class "C" license. A Class "C" license
shall be issued to all private clubs which do not meet the
requirements for a Class "A" or Class "B" private club license.
However nothing herein shall be construed to restrict licensing
under the provisions of title 20 or title 19 of these ordinances.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days after
its first publication.
Passed by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah,
this 31st day of July , 1984.
