Pursuant to Petition No. 400-96-15)
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE SALT LAKE CITY ZONING MAP, MADE A
PART OF THE SALT LAKE CITY CODE BY SECTION 21A.22.020A OF THE
SALT LAKE CITY CODE RELATING TO ZONING AND FIXING OF BOUNDARIES
OF ZONING DISTRICTS, PURSUANT TO PETITION NO. 400-96-15.
WHEREAS, in response to Rezoning Petition No. 400-96-15, the
City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah has held public hearings
before its own body and before the Planning Commission, and has
taken into consideration citizen testimony, filing and
demographic details of the area, the long range General Plan for
the City, and any local Master Plan as part of its deliberation.
Pursuant to these deliberations, the Council has concluded that
the proposed change of zoning for the properties located at 1836,
1848 and 1876 West North Temple is appropriate for the
development of the community in that area; and
THEREFORE, the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah hereby
adopts the following amendments to the Zoning Map adopted
pursuant to Title 21A.
Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That the Zoning Map, as adopted by Section
21A.22.020A of the Salt Lake City Code, relating to the fixing of
boundaries of Zoning Districts, be, and the same hereby is,
AMENDED to read as follows:
'Sec. 21A.22.020A Zoning Map.
That the following -described parcel of real property in Salt
Lake City, Utah presently zoned "RMF-45" is hereby rezoned
Commercial Corridor "CC" and the Zoning Map is amended
Accordingly:
COMMENCING at the southeast corner of Lot 1, Block 1,
Desky's 5th Addition; thence north approximately 376
feet to a point on the east property line of Lot 1
Block 2 of said subdivision; thence west approximately(;

north 285 feet east of the southeast corner of Lot 3,
Airport East Business Park No. 1; thence south
approximately 376 feet to the north right-of-way line
of North Temple Street; thence east approximately 525

Street to the point of beginning.
° SECTION 2. EFFECTIVE DATE. This ordinance shall take
effect immediately upon the date of its being first published and
recorded with the Salt Lake County Recorder.
