AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 21.14.020 OF THE SALT LAKE
CITY CODE RELATING TO ZONING AND FIXING OF BOUNDARIES OF USE
DISTRICTS PURSUANT TO PETITION NO. 400-92-26.
WHEREAS, in response to the rezoning petition initiated by
Terrace Hills Association, Inc., No. 400-92-26, the City Council
of Salt Lake City, Utah has held public hearings before its own
body and before the Planning Commission, and has taken into
consideration citizen testimony, filing and demographic details
of the area and the Master Plan as part of its deliberation.
Pursuant to these deliberations, the Council has concluded that
the proposed change of zoning for the property located along
North Bonneville Drive at approximately 1055 East is appropriate
for the development of the community in that area; and
THEREFORE, the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah hereby
adopts the following amendments to the Use District provisions of
Title 21.
Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That the Use District Map, as adopted by Section
21.14.020 of the Salt Lake City Code, relating to the fixing of
boundaries of Use Districts, be, and the same hereby is, AMENDED
to read as follows:
Sec. 21.14.020. Boundaries of Districts --Use District Map
Adopted.
That the following -described parcel of real property in Salt
Lake City, Utah presently zoned Preservation "P-1" is hereby
rezoned Residential "R-1", included within the Foothill overlay
"F-1" and the Use District Map is amended accordingly:
Beginning at point on the northerly 80 foot right of way
line of North Bonneville Drive said point is N 28°40' E
80.00 feet and S 61°20' E 206.00 feet from the Northeast
corner of Lot 14 Northcrest Subdivision Plat "N" as filed
in the office of Salt Lake County Recorder; thence N
28°40' E 120.46 feet; thence S 56°02'36" E 186.31 feet;
thence S 45°58'50" E 208.61 feet; thence S 38°32'08" E
165.35 feet; thence South 186.65 feet to a point on the
northerly 60 foot right of way line of said North
Bonneville Drive; thence westerly along said northerly 60
foot right of way line the following 5 courses: N 55°30'
W 71.26 feet to a tangent point of a 418.09 foot radius
curve to the right; 176.95 feet along said curve to a
)tangent point, through a central angle of 24°15'; N
31°15' W 58.88 feet to a tangent point of a 511.20 foot
radius curve to the left; 268.41 feet along said curve to
a tangent point, through a central angle of 30°05'; N
61°20' W 83.50 feet; thence N 28°40' E 20.00 feet to the
point of beginning. Contains 1.96 acres.
SECTION 2. EFFECTIVE DATE. This ordinance shall become
effective on the date of its first publication and shall be
recorded with the Salt Lake County Recorder.
Passed by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah, this
7 day of July , 1992.
