054 of 2012 - Amending the Consolidated Fee Schedule to remove permit fees relating to registration of feral cat c O 12-1 O 11-9 O 12-25 SALT LAKE CITY ORDINANCE No. 54 of 2012 (Amending the Salt Lake City Consolidated Fee Schedule to eliminate feral cat colony fees) AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE SALT LAKE CITY CONSOLIDATED FEE SCHEDULE TO ELIMINATE FEES RELATING TO FERAL CAT COLONIES. WHEREAS, on May 17, 2011 the City Council adopted Ordinances 2011-23, 2011-24 and 2011-25 to authorize and create the Salt Lake City Consolidated Fee Schedule; and WHEREAS, the Salt Lake City Consolidated Fee Schedule has since been amended from time to time, and WHEREAS, the present version of the Salt Lake City Consolidated Fee Schedule is proposed to be amended to eliminate fees relating to feral cat colonies as shown in the attached Exhibit "A"; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds (i) the elimination of fees relating to feral cat colonies as set forth in Exhibit "A" are reasonable, and equitable in relation to regulatory and service costs incurred by the City; and (ii) adoption of this ordinance reasonably furthers the health, safety, and general welfare of the citizens of Salt Lake City. NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah: SECTION 1. The current Salt Lake City Consolidated Fee Schedule as adopted on June 19, 2012 shall be, and hereby is, amended, in pertinent part, to reflect the elimination of certain fees relating to feral cat colonies as set forth in the attached Exhibit "A". SECTION 2. The official copy of the Salt Lake City Consolidated Fee Schedule shall be revised to reflect the elimination of fees relating to feral cat colonies as reflected in the attached Exhibit "A" and a copy of thereof shall be published on the official Salt Lake City website.
