058 of 1986 - Rezoning near Windsor Street related to Petition No. 400-425-86 SALT LAKE CITY ORDINANCE No. 58 of 1986 (Rezoning an area on the South side of 8th South between Windsor Street and 900 East from "R-5A" to "B-3" pursuant to Petition No. 400-425-86) AN ORDINANCE •AMENDING SECTION 51-12-2 OF THE REVISED ORDINANCES OF SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH, 1965, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO ZONING AND FIXING OF BOUNDARIES OF USE DISTRICTS. WHEREAS, in response to the request pertaining to zoning initiated by Smith's Food King Properties, Petition No. 400-425-86, the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah, has held public hearings before its own body and before the Planning Commission, and has taken into consideration citizen testimony, filing and demographic details of the area and the master plan as part of its own deliberation. Pursuant to these deliberations, the Council has concluded thatyl-q 1*Qposed change of zoning for the property located on the south side of 8th South between Windsor Street and 900 East from the existing residential "R-5A" to a business "B-3" classification is appropriate for the development of the community in that area; THEREFORE, the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah, hereby adopts the following amendment to the use district provisions of Title 1.
