063 of 1991 - Amending Chapter 64 of Title 21O 91-1 P 91-144 SALT LAKE CITY ORDINANCE No. 63 of 1991 (Amending Chapter 64 of Title 21 providing demolition appeals to the City Council) AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 64 OF TITLE 21, SALT LAKE CITY CODE, BY ADDING SECTION 150 PROVIDING DEMOLITION APPEALS TO THE SALT LAKE CITY COUNCIL. WHEREAS, the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah finds, after public hearing before its own body and before the Planning Commission that appeals from demolition decisions by the Planning Commission in the Commercial "C-4" District should be heard by the City Council; NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah: SECTION 1. That Section 21.64.150, Salt Lake City Code, be, and the same hereby is, enacted to read as follows: 21.64.150 Appeals to City Council. Any person aggrieved by any decision of the Planning Commission concerning demolition pursuant to this chapter may appeal that decision to the City Council, provided such a petition for appeal is presented to the City Council within thirty days after the filing of the Planning Commission's final decision. If the Redevelopment Agency of Salt Lake City is a party to the decision, the appeal shall be heard by the Board of Adjustment. SECTION 2. EFFECTIVE DATE. This ordinance shall become effective on the date of its first publication. Passed by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah, this 13th day of August 1991.
