067 of 1983 - Amendment to Section 51-12-2 w ' n! j w.� '� "D P 83-313 SALT LAKE CITY ORDINANCE No. 67 of 1983 (Rezoning of area from 900-1800 North from Redwood Road to I-215 from "R-6" to "R-?.A" ) AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 51-12-2 OF THE REVISED ORDINANCES OF SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH, 1965, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO ZONING AND FIXING OF BOUNDARIES OF USE DISTRICTS. WHEREAS, in response to the request pertaining to zoning initiated by Linda Tracy and Robert Lowe, et al . , said petition being known as Petition No. 400-45 of 1983, the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah, has held public hearings before its own body and before the Planning Commission, and has taken into consideration citizen testimony, filing and demographic details of the area and the master plan as part of its own delibera- tion. Pursuant to these deliberations, the Council has concluded that the proposed change of property located between from 900- 1800 North and between Redwood Road and Interstate I-215, from the existing Residential "R-6" to a Residential "R-2A" zoning classification is appropriate for the development of the community in that area. THEREFORE, the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah, hereby adopts the following amendment to the Use District provisions of Title 51 . Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah: SECTION 1 . That the Use District Map, as adopted by Section 51-12-2 , Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, as amended, relating to the fixing of boundaries of Use Districts, be, and the same hereby is, AMENDED as follows: Sec. 51-12-2. Boundaries of Use Districts. That the following described parcel of land in Salt Lake City, Utah, presently zoned Residential "R-611 , generally located in the area between 900-1800 North from Redwood Road to I-215 is hereby rezoned to a Residential "R-2A" classification, and the Use District Map is amended and enlarged accordingly. Residential "R-6" to "R-2A" : Commencing at a point on the southern right of way line of 1800 North Street, said point being 250 feet West of the northeast corner of Lot 12, Block 16, Jordan Plat "A" Subdivision; running thence West 1 , 167. 6 feet; thence Southwesterly 1 ,053. 56 feet along the 1800 North interchange southern no-access line; thence southerly 5,84. 5 feet more or less along the east no-access line of Interstate 215 to the intersection of said no-access line and the north right-of-way line of 900 North Street; thence East 2,241 feet more or less along the C ,Z' north right-of-way line of 900 North Street to a point 250 feet West of the southeast corner of Lot 2, Willow Place Subdivision; thence North 3,893 .07 feet; thence f West 314 . 2 feet; thence North 30 feet more or less to the southeast corner of Lot 208, New Rose Park No. 2 Subdivision; thence West 1 ,279 feet; thence North 569.95 feet; thence East 110 feet; thence South 35 feet; thence East 991 . 5 feet; thence North 249. 18 feet; thence East 499. 69 feet; thence North 1 , 270. 5 feet to the point of beginning. SECTION 2 . This ordinance shall take effect upon ninety (90) days after the date of its first publication.
