068 of 2004 - increasing the size of outdoor television monitors in the D-1 & D-4 zoning districts from 50 square 0 04-1 0 03-19 SALT LAKE CITY ORDINANCE No. 68 2004 (Amending the Regulation for the Size of Outdoor Television Monitors) AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE SALT LAKE CITY CODE REGARDING THE SIZE OF OUTDOOR TELEVISION MONITORS, PURSUANT TO PETITION NO. 400-04-08. WHEREAS, the Salt Lake City Zoning Code contains regulations regarding the size of outdoor television monitors; and WHEREAS, after public hearings, the City Council has determined that the proposed amendments to the City's zoning ordinance are in the best interest of the City; NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah: SECTION 1. The table set forth at Section 21A.46.110.A.3(a) of the Salt Lake City Code shall be and hereby is amended to provide that the maximum area per sign face in square feet for outdoor television monitors shall be and hereby is amended from 50 square feet to 62 square feet. SECTION 2. Effective Date. This ordinance shall become effective on the date of its first publication. DATED this 24th day of August , 2004.
