007 of 2013 - Rezone pertaining to property located at 2016 South 2100 East; Sugar House Community Master Plan; PL 0 13-1 P 13-2 SALT LAKE CITY ORDINANCE No. 7 of 2013 (Amending the Sugar House Community Master Plan and zoning map pertaining to property located at 2016 South 2100 East Street) An ordinance amending the Future Land Use Map of the Sugar House Community Master Plan and amending the zoning map pertaining to property located at 2016 South 2100 East Street pursuant to Petition Nos. PLNPCM2012-00367 and PLNPCM2012-00366. WIIEREAS, the Salt Lake City Planning Commission held a public hearing on September 26, 2012 on an application submitted by Ellen Reddick on behalf of the property owner, 2022, LLC ("Applicant") to amend the Sugar House Community Master Plan and zoning map pertaining to property located at 2016 South 2100 East Street (the "Property") to amend the Future Land Use Map of the Central Community Master Plan concerning the Property from Low Density Residential (5-10 dwelling units per acre) to Mixed Use - Low Intensity, and to change the zoning of the Property from R-1/7,000 Single-Family Residential District to CB Community Business District pursuant to Petition Nos. PLNPCM2012-00367 and PLNPCM2012-00366; and WHEREAS, at its September 26, 2012 meeting, the planning commission voted in favor of forwarding a positive recommendation to the Salt Lake City Council on said applications; and WHEREAS, after a public hearing on this matter the city council has determined that adopting this ordinance is in the city's best interests. NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah: SECTION 1. Amending the Sugar House Community Master Plan. That the Future Land Use Map of the Sugar House Community Master Plan shall be and hereby is amended to change the designated future land use of property located at 2016 South 2100 East Street (Tax ID No. 16-15-358-040), and which is more particularly described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, from Low Density Residential (5-10 dwelling units per acre) to Mixed Use - Low Intensity. SECTION 2. Amending the Zoning Map. That the Salt Lake City Zoning Map, as adopted by the Salt Lake City Code, relating to the fixing of boundaries and zoning districts, shall be and hereby is amended to reflect that the Property described in Section 1 above, shall be and hereby is re-zoned from R-1/7,000 Single-Family Residential District to CB Community Business District. SECTION 3. Effective Date. This ordinance shall become effective on the date of its first publication.
