WHEREAS, there has been filed with the City Recorder of Salt Lake- City, Petition No. 400-244 of 1984, together with the plat showing the tract of land to be annexed and hereafter known collectively as the "Bangerter Annex" , requesting that the tract of land hereinafter described, be taken within the limits of Salt Lake City Corporation; WHEREAS, the said Petition is signed by a majority of the owners of the real property and the owners of more than one-third in value of all the real property, as shown by the last assess- ment rolls, situated in the tract hereinafter described; WHEREAS, the Petitioner has caused an accurate plat or map to be made and certified to by a competent surveyor and approved by the City Engineer, and to be filed with the City Recorder; o 0 WHEREAS, the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah, on the vt O� Ilth day of December, 1984, passed Resolution No. 12673 Cr of 1984, accepting said Petition .for purposes of review; E WHEREAS, the City Council of Salt Lake City, after examining � , � said Petition, having said Petition reviewed by various depart- ments of the City, having considered the circumstances thereof and after finding said proposed extension or annexation to he consistent and in keeping with its Master Annexation Policy Declaration being located in Area 1 of said Declaration as amended on December 11 , 1984, said Council voted by a two-thirds vote of all of its members present, in favor of said annexation; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah; SECTION 1 . AREA. That the City limits of Salt Lake City, be, and the same hereby are, enlarged and extended so as to include the following tract of land in Salt Lake County, Utah: Beginning at a point West 1043 .76 feet and South 273.02 feet from the Northeast corner of the Southeast Quarter of Section 9, Township 1 North, Range 1 West, Salt Lake Base and Meridian, running `V thence South 176 .99 feet; thence S. 88°42 '43" W. 244.65 feet to the East line of 2450 West Street; thence N. 0°19 '47" E 180.00 feet along said East line of 2450 West Street; thence N. 89° 24' 47" F. 243 .57 feet to the point of beginning. Contains 1400 SECTION 2. ZONING. Be it further ordained and declared that the whole property above described in Section 1 be, and the �► 0 0 same hereby is zoned A-1; and the Use District Map as adopted by v� ` Qa - Section 51-12-1 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, -o L Utah, 1965, as amended, relating to the fixing of boundaries of the Use Districts, be, and the same hereby is amended by the M addition of said property to such classification. -2- SECTION 3. GENERAL JURISDICTION. Be it further ordained and declared that the said tract of land described above in Section 1 shall thenceforth be within the corporate limits of Salt Lake City Corporation. Said tract of land shall be zoned as herein provided in Section 2. All ordinances, jurisdictions, rules and obligations of or pertaining to Salt Lake City are extended over and made applicable and pertinent to this tract of land; and the streets, blocks,- alleys and ways of said tract shall be controlled and governed by the ordinance, rules, and regulations of said City in that behalf. The monuments of the City Engineer shall thenceforth be taken therein as the standards of locations and distances of said land. SECTION 4. CONDITIONS SUBSMUENT. The annexation of said property is granted upon the following conditions subsequent. Prior to providing any water and sewer service to the area within the annexation, property owners at their expense must execute the following documents in a form approved by the City_ Attorney: (1 ) Avigation Agreement; and (2 ) Annexation Agreement relating to sound attenuation and waiver of special improvement district protest. rM SECTION 5.
