WHEREAS, in response to Petition No. 400-92-33, submitted by Gene Rose of Loftus Novelty, the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah has held public hearings before its own body and before the Planning Commission, and has taken into consideration citizen testimony, filings and demographic details of the area and the master plan as part of its deliberation. Pursuant to these deliberations, the City Council has concluded that it is appropriate to apply the mixed use transition provisions of Chapter 21.73 to the property fronting 200 East between 800 and CHIEF DEP 900 South Streets; and THEREFORE, the City Council of Salt Lake City hereby adopts the following amendments to the Use District provisions of Title 21. SECTION 1. That the Use District map, as adopted by Section 21.14.020 of the Salt Lake City Code, relating to the fixing of boundaries of Use Districts be, and the same hereby is, amended to include the property more fully described in Exhibit "A", which is attached and incorporated by reference, as being within the Mixed Use -Transition zone of Chapter 21.73. SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall become effective on the date of its first publication and shall be recorded with the Salt Lake County Recorder.
