AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 21.14.020 OF THE SALT LAKE
CITY CODE RELATING TO ZONING AND FIXING OF BOUNDARIES OF USE
DISTRICTS PURSUANT TO PETITION NO. 400-628-92.
WHEREAS, in response to the rezoning petition initiated by
J.F. Hiatt, No. 400-628-92, the City Council of Salt Lake City,
Utah has held public hearings before its own body and before the
Planning Commission, and has taken into consideration citizen
testimony, filing and demographic details of the area and the
Master Plan as part of its deliberation. Pursuant to these
deliberations, the Council has concluded that the proposed change
of zoning for the property located between 500 South and 900
South and 2500 West and 3700 West is appropriate for the
development of the community in that area; and
THEREFORE, the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah hereby
adopts the following amendments to the Use District provisions of
Title 21.
Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That the Use District Map, as adopted by Section
21.14.020 of the Salt Lake City Code, relating to the fixing of
boundaries of Use Districts, be, and the same.hereby is, AMENDED

That the following -described parcel of real property in Salt
Lake City, Utah presently zoned Agricultural "A-1" is hereby
rezoned Manufacturing "M-lA" and the Use District Map is amended
accordingly:
Beginning at a point on the Northeast corner of block
18, lot 15, of the Buena Vista Sub -Division, Salt Lake
County Survey W1/2 S.W.1/4 SECTION 4 T.1S. R.1W.,
proceeding West 4100.00 feet more or less, thence
Southwest along the 500 South and 700 South connection
1260.00 feet more or less, thence South 348.0 feet more
or less, thence East 1245.00 feet more or less, thence
