074 of 1989 - Rezoning Property Located at 2613 E 2325 S From Residential "R-2" to Business "B-3" O 89-1 P 89-351 SALT LAKE CITY ORDINANCE No. 74 of 1989 (Rezoning property located at 2613 East 2325 South from Residential "R-2" to Business "B-3" pursuant to Petition No. 400-720-89 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 21 . 14 . 020 OF THE SALT LAKE CITY CODE RELATING TO ZONING AND FIXING OF BOUNDARIES OF USE DISTRICTS . WHEREAS, in response to the rezoning petition initiated by Kevin Koncar, No. 400-720-89, the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah, has held public hearings before its own body and before the Planning Commission, and has taken into consideration citizen testimony, filing and demographic details of the area and the Master Plan as part of its deliberation. Pursuant to these deliberations, the Council has concluded that the proposed change of zoning for the property located at 2613 East 2325 South from Residential "R-2" to Business "B-3" is appropriate for the development of the community in that area; THEREFORE, The City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah, hereby adopts the following amendments to the Use District provisions of Title 21 . Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah: SECTION 1 . That the Use District Map, as adopted by Section 21 . 14 . 020 of the Salt Lake City Code, relating to the fixing of boundaries of Use Districts, be, and the same hereby is AMENDED to read as follows : Sec. 21. 14.020. Boundaries of Districts - Use District Map Adopted. That the following-described parcel of real property in Salt Lake City, Utah, presently zoned Residential "R-2" is hereby rezoned Business 11B-3" and the Use District Map is amended accordingly: Beginning at the Southwest corner of Lot 17, Laurel Subdivision, as recorded with the office of the Salt Lake County Recorder; said subdivision being located in the Southwest quarter of the Northeast quarter of Section 22, Township 1 South, Range 1 East, Salt Lake Base and Meridian, and running thence North 23°26 ' West along the West boundary line of said Lot 17, _$ 60 . 96 feet; thence South 51000' East 89 . 19 feet to the South boundary line of said Lot 17; thence North 89°45100" West along said West boundary line 45. 07 feet to the point of beginning. SECTION 2. EFFECTIVE DATE AND CONDITIONS. This ordinance shall become effective on its first publication.
