Pursuant to Petition No. 400-93-136)
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 21.14.020 OF THE SALT LAKE
CITY CODE RELATING TO ZONING AND FIXING OF BOUNDARIES OF USE
DISTRICTS PURSUANT TO PETITION NO. 400-93-136.
WHEREAS, in response to rezoning petition No. 400-93-136,
the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah has held public hearings
before its own body and before the Planning Commission, and has
taken into consideration citizen testimony, filing and
demographic details of the area and the Master Plan as part of
its deliberation. Pursuant to these deliberations, the Council
has concluded that the proposed change of zoning for the property
located at approximately 635 18th Avenue is appropriate for the
development of the community in that area; and
THEREFORE, the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah hereby
adopts the following amendments to the Use District provisions of
Title 21.
Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That the Use District Map, as adopted by Section
21.14.020 of the Salt Lake City Code, relating to the fixing of
boundaries of Use Districts, be, and the same hereby is, AMENDED
to read as follows:
Sec. 21.14.020. Boundaries of Districts --Use District Map
Adopted.
That the following -described parcel of real property in Salt
Lake City, Utah presently zoned Preservation "P-1" is hereby
rezoned Residential "R-1" and the Use District Map is amended
accordingly:
Beginning 50 feet North of the northwest corner of Lot 2,
Block 6, Northcrest Subdivision Plat "D", a subdivision
located in the W 1/2, SW 1/4, Sec. 29, Township 1 North,
Range 1 East, Salt Lake Base & Meridian, and running
thence N 161.05 feet; thence W 158.01 feet; thence S 74°
W 16.32 feet; thence N 28° E 425.96 feet; thence E 208.62
feet; thence S 63°19' E 35.15 feet; thence S 280.12 feet;
thence E 272.61 feet; thence S 22°30' E 95.09 feet;
thence S 32.15 feet; thence W 224.0 feet; thence S 116.74
feet; thence W 351.3 feet to the point of beginning.

SECTION 2. EFFECTIVE DATE. This ordinance shall take
effect immediately upon the date of its being first published and
recorded with the Salt Lake County Recorder.
