SECTION 3 . CONDITIONS. This ordinance, after passage,
shall be published but shall not become effective until the
following condition has been satisfied:
That an adequate area be paved for providing for the
turning movements for cars using the remaining alley
system as approved by the City Engineering Department.
SECTION 4 . EFFECTIVE DATE. This ordinance, after the
date of its first publication, shall not become effective until
recorded with the Office of the Salt Lake County Recorder.
However, the Salt Lake City Recorder is instructed not to
record this ordinance until the Mayor verifies that the
conditions have been satisfied. If the foregoing conditions are
not completed within one year from the date of passage, this
ordinance shall be null, void and of no effect and shall not be
recorded.
Passed by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah,
this 9ra day of Novembpr 1987.

No. 78 —of 1987
(Closing a portion of the alley running
from 1700 South, South 109 feet directly in
the rear of properties facing 1000 East
located in Salt Lake City, Utah, pursuant
to Petition No. 400-414-86 )
AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AN ALLEY LOCATED IN SALT LAKE CITY,
UTAH, AND REQUIRING CERTAIN CONDITIONS.

SECTION 1 . That alley located in Salt Lake City, Utah, be
and the same hereby is CLOSED and declared no longer to be
public property for use as a street, avenue, alley or pedestrian
way.
SECTION 2 . Said alley is more particularly described as
follows:
Commencing at a point 151 . 8 feet West from the
Northeast corner of Lot 11 , Block 1, 5 Acre Plat A,
Big Field Survey to the East edge of a public alley
and running thence South 106 . 3 feet to a point along
said right of way; thence West 9. 0 feet to the West
right of way line of said alley, thence North 106. 3
feet of the Northeast corner of Lot 1 of the Perkins
Second Addition Subdivision; thence East 9 . 0 feet of
the point of beginning.
RESERVATIONS. Said closure is expressly made: SUBJECT TO
all existing rights of way and easements of all public utilities
of any and every description now located on, in, under or over
the confines of the above-described real property.
ALSO SUBJECT TO the right of entry thereon for the
purposes of obtaining, altering, replacing, removing, repairing or
rerouting said utilities and all of them.
Said closure is also SUBJECT TO any existing rights of way
or easements of private third parties.
