080 of 1991 - Snow Removal from Sidewalks0 91-1 0 91-38 SALT LAKE CITY ORDINANCE No. 80 of 1991 (Snow to be removed from sidewalks) AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 14.20.070, SALT LAKE CITY CODE, 1988, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO REMOVAL OF SNOW FROM SIDEWALKS. NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah: SECTION 1. That Section 14.20.070, Salt Lake City Code, 1988, as amended, be, and the same hereby is, amended to read as follows: 14.20.070 Snow to be removed from sidewalks. It is unlawful for the owner, occupant, lessor or agent of any property abutting on any paved sidewalk to fail to remove or cause to be removed from such paved sidewalk all hail, snow or sleet falling thereon, within twenty-four hours after such hail, snow or sleet has ceased falling. SECTION 2. EFFECTIVE DATE. This ordinance shall become effective on the date of its first publication. Passed by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah, this 5 day of November , 1991.
