AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 21.14.020 OF THE SALT LAKE
CITY CODE RELATING TO ZONING AND FIXING OF BOUNDARIES OF USE
DISTRICTS PURSUANT TO PETITION NO. 400-92-5.
WHEREAS, in response to the rezoning petition initiated by
St. Joseph's Villa, No. 400-92-5, the City Council of Salt Lake
City, Utah has held public hearings before its own body and
before the Planning Commission, and has taken into consideration
citizen testimony, filing and demographic details of the area and
the Master Plan as part of its deliberation. Pursuant to these
deliberations, the Council has concluded that the proposed change
of zoning for the property located at 475 Ramona Avenue is
appropriate for the development of the community in that area;
and
THEREFORE, the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah hereby
adopts the following amendments to the Use District provisions of
Title 21.
Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That the Use District Map, as adopted by Section
21.14.020 of the Salt Lake City Code, relating to the fixing of
boundaries of Use Districts, be, and the same hereby is, AMENDED

SECTION 3. EFFECTIVE DATE. This ordinance shall become
effective on the date of its first publication and shall be
recorded with the Salt Lake County Recorder. This ordinance
shall not become effective until the condition specified in
Section 2 shall have been certified by the Mayor as having been
completed. In the event that this condition has not been
satisfied within one year the Mayor may extend the time for
performance by an additional year. In the event that the
condition has not been satisfied within the year or any extension
this ordinance shall be null, void and shall not be published or
recorded.
