088 of 1992 - Rezoning property located between the Jordan River and Emery Street and 1300 South and Illinois Stre0 92-1 P 92-362 Affects Sidwell #s and SALT LAKE CITY ORDINANCE No. 88 of 1992 (Rezoning property located between the Jordan River and Emery Street and 1300 South and Illinois Street pursuant to Petition No. 400-92-100) AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 21.14.020 OF THE SALT LAKE CITY CODE RELATING TO ZONING AND FIXING OF BOUNDARIES OF USE DISTRICTS PURSUANT TO PETITION NO. 400-92-100. WHEREAS, in response to the rezoning petition initiated by Mac Development, No. 400-92-100, the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah has held public hearings before its own body and before the Planning Commission, and has taken into consideration citizen testimony, filing and demographic details of the area and the Master Plan as part of its deliberation. Pursuant to these deliberations, the Council has concluded that the proposed change of zoning for the property located between the Jordan River and Emery Street and 1300 South and Illinois Street is appropriate for the development of the community in that area; and THEREFORE, the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah hereby adopts the following amendments to the Use District provisions of Title 21. Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah: SECTION 1. That the Use District Map, as adopted by Section 21.14.020 of the Salt Lake City Code, relating to the fixing of boundaries of Use Districts, be, and the same hereby is, AMENDED to read as follows: Sec. 21.14.020. Boundaries of Districts --Use District Map Adopted. That the following -described parcel of real property in Salt Lake City, Utah presently zoned Residential "R-2" is hereby rezoned Residential "R-1-5000" and the Use District Map is amended accordingly: COMMENCING NORTH 399.59 FEET FROM THE SE CORNER OF LOT 9, BLOCK 7, BURLINGTON PLACE ADDITION, WEST 31 FEET; NORTH 711 FEET, EAST 660.96 FEET; SOUTH 159.37 FEET; EAST 505.5 FEET; NORTH 10 FEET; EAST 200 FEET; SOUTH 271.96 FEET; WEST 140 FEET; SOUTH 64.64 FEET; WEST 366.8 FEET; NORTH 33.7 FEET MORE OR LESS; WEST 182.0 FEET MORE OR LESS; S 27° 20' WEST 90.1 FEET; S 38° 58' WEST 192 FEET; S 20° 57' WEST 40 FEET; S 11° 49' EAST 44.74 FEET; WEST 313.00 FEET; NORTH 16 FEET; WEST 150 FEET; NORTH 70.85 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING. SECTION 2. CONDITION. This ordinance shall not become effective until the following condition has been met: A. Filing by the petitioner of a subdivision plat and preliminary approval of the plat by the Planning Commission. SECTION 3. EFFECTIVE DATE. This ordinance shall become effective on the date of its first publication and shall be recorded with the Salt Lake County Recorder. The City Recorder is instructed to not record this ordinance until the Mayor has certified that the condition required in Section 2 above has been met. If the condition has not been met within one year from the date of this ordinance the Mayor may extend the condition by an additional year. If the condition has not been met within the initial year and to any extension this ordinance shall become null, void and of no effect and the City Recorder is instructed CHIEF PEPUTy to not publish it.
