(Amending a portion of the Sunset Oaks Plat B and Sunset Oaks
Plat B Addition Subdivisions
Petition No. 400-92-121)
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE AMENDMENT OF A PORTION OF THE
SUNSET OAKS PLAT B AND THE SUNSET OAKS PLAT B ADDITION
SUBDIVISIONS, AS REQUIRED BY SECTION 57-5-8, UTAH CODE ANNOTATED,
PURSUANT TO PETITION NO. 400-92-121.
WHEREAS, Petition No. 400-92-121 was filed with the City by
Samuel Clark, requesting the City to allow the amendment of a
portion of the Sunset Oaks Plat B and Sunset Oaks Plat B Addition
Subdivisions; and
WHEREAS, one hundred percent of the owners of the property
within and adjacent to the subdivisions have not consented to the
amendments; and
WHEREAS, the Council has held a public hearing after giving
the required notices, and has reviewed the preliminary Plat
amendments which has been previously preliminarily approved by
the Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, good cause exists for the amendment of the plats
and the City Council finds neither the public nor any person will
be materially injured by the proposed amendments;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the City Council of Salt
Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1. The City hereby approves the proposed amendments
to a portion of the Sunset Oaks Plat B and Sunset Oaks Plat B
`:Addition Subdivisions approved by the Planning Commission. A
copy of the Amended Plats shall be retained by the City Recorder
as Exhibit A to this Ordinance. The Planning Director is
authorized to grant approval of the final plats subject to
compliance with applicable City ordinances.
SECTION 2. EFFECTIVE DATE. This Ordinance shall take
effect immediately upon the date of its first publication.
