SALT LAKE CITY ORDINANCE
No. 90 of 1996
(Renaming a portion of 1930 West Street)
AN ORDINANCE RENAMING THE PORTION OF 1930 WEST STREET
LOCATED SOUTH OF 400 NORTH STREET.
WHEREAS, Habitat for Humanity International has
constructed a home located at 374 North 1930 West, which
home has been purchased by Doris, Allen and Mary Hicks; and
WHEREAS, the Hick's have requested that the name of
that portion of 1930 West Street be changed to Doralma
Street, Doralma being a combination of their first names
(Doris, Allen, and Mary).
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the City Council of
Salt Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That the name of the 292 foot portion of
1930 West Street located south of 400 North shall be and
hereby is changed to Doralma Street.
SECTION 2. EFFECTIVE DATE. This ordinance shall
become effective upon the date of its first publication and
shall be recorded with the Salt Lake County Recorder.
Passed by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah,
this 19th day of November
