RESOLUTION NO. 102 OF 1984
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN
INTEPLOCAL COOPERATION AGREEMENT
BETWEEN SALT LAKE CITY CORPORATION
AND THE STATE OF UTAH
WHEREAS, Title 11, Chapter 13, U.C.A. , 1953 as amended,
allows public entities to enter into cooperative agreements to
provide joint undertakings and services; and
WHEREAS, the attached agreement has been prepared to
accomplish said purposes;
THEREFORE, BE IT P.FSOLVED by the City Council of Salt Lake
City, Utah:
1. It does hereby approve the attached agreement generally
described as follows:
Said Aareement allows the City to participate with the Divi-
sion of State History in the certified local government grant and
receive $7,627.00 in matching federal funds for the following
qualified projects: (a) Preparation and publication of a hand-
book for the Historic Landmark Committee; (b) Publication of
the City's Southwest Historical Survey Report; and (c) Overhead
and educational opportunities furthering historical preservation
objectives and skills.
2. Ted L. Wilson, Mayor of Salt Lake City, Utah, is herehy
authorized to execute said agreement on behalf of Salt Lake City
Corporation and to act in accordance with its terms.
Passed by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah,
this 2nd day of October , 1984.
