RESOLUTION NO. 116 OF 1986
WAIVING THE REQUIREMENTS OF SECTION 33-1-6
REVISED ORDINANCES OF SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH
WHEREAS, Title 33, Chapter 1 , Revised Ordinances of Salt
Lake City , Utah, 1965 as amended , provides for certain procedures
for Council review of property transfer ; and
WHEREAS, the Airport Authority desires to enter into a lease
involving a property interest transfer covered by the terms of
said ordinance, but exigent circumstances require that the
transaction be expedited; and
WHEREAS, the Council agrees that the lease is proper, in the
City interest and should be expedited;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Salt Lake
City, Utah:
1 . It does hereby determine that the lease for Flight
Safety International is in the public and City interest. The
public hearing rights of Section 33-1-6 Revised Ordinances of
Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, as amended are unnecessary and the
Council waives the time for this matter to be on its consent
calendar. The Council approves the immediate execution of this
lease by the Mayor.
