RESOLUr ION NO. 117 OF 1987
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN
INTERLOCAL COOPERATION AGREEMENT
BETWEEN SALT LAKE CITY CORPORATION
AND THE UTAH DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION
WHEREAS, Title 11, Chapter 13, U. C. A. , 1953, as amended,
allows public entities to enter into cooperative agreements to
provide joint undertakings and services ; and
WHEREAS, the attached agreement has been prepared to
accomplish said purposes ;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Salt Lake
City, Utah :
1. It does hereby approve the attached agreement generally
described as follows :
An agreement to relocate City culinary water facili-
ties in conjunction with UDOT"s reconstruction of 900
East from 5900 South to the Van Winkle Expressway.
2. Palmer A. DePaulis, Mayor of Salt Lake City, Utah, is
hereby authorized to execute said agreement on behalf of Salt
Lake City Corporation and to act in accordance with its terms .
Passed by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah, this
8th day of September , 1987.
