RESOLUTION NO. 141 OF 1985
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF THE
FIRST AMENDMENT TO AN INTERLOCAL
COOPERATION AGREEMENT BETWEEN
SALT LAKE CITY CORPORATION
AND
THE SECRETARY OF HOUSING AND URBAN
DEVELOPMENT OF THE UNITED STATES
OF AMERICA
WHEREAS, Title 11, Chapter 13, U.C.A., 1953 as amended,
allows public entities to enter into cooperative agreements to
provide joint undertakings and services; and
WHEREAS, the attached agreement has been prepared to
accomplish said purposes;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Salt Lake
City, Utah:
1. It does hereby approve the attached agreement generally
described as follows:
The first amendment of an interlocal agreement between Salt
Lake City and the Secretary of Housing and Urban
Development, executed by the Secretary on October 12, 1984
and by the City on November 6, 1984, for the grant and
receipt of UDAG funds.
2. Palmer Depaulis, Mayor of Salt Lake City, Utah, is
hereby authorized to execute said agreement on behalf of Salt
Lake City Corporation and to act in accordance with its terms.
Passed by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah,
this l2th day of November, 1985.
