RESOLUTION NO. 143 OF 1985
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN
INTERLOCAL COOPERATION AGREEMENT
BETWEEN SALT LAKE CITY CORPORATION
AND STATE OF UTAH DEPARTMENT OF
SOCIAL SERVICES

WHEREAS, Title 11, Chapter 13, U.C.A., 1953, as amended, allows public
entities to enter into cooperative agreements to provide joint undertakings
and services; and
WHEREAS, the attached agreement has been prepared to accomplish said
purposes;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah:
1. It does hereby approve the attached agreement generally described
as follows:
To provide and/or develop documentation on the homeless, the
homeless mentally ill and other disadvantaged homeless persons
and to further the state policy as outlined in Utah Code Annotated,
1969, Title 55, section 18-1. Work to be accomplished by the
Task Force for the Appropriate Treatment of the Homeless Mentally
Ill. Grant amount is $15,000.
2. Palmer A. DePaulis, Mayor of Salt Lake City, Utah, is hereby
authorized to execute said agreement on behalf of Salt Lake City
Corporation and to act in accordance with its terms.
Passed by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah, this 12th
day of November , 1985.
