AN ORDINANCE
An ordinanoe amending Subdivision A of Section 3 of an
ordinance passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City
August 28, 1912, granting a franchise on First West Street to
W. W. Armstrong, et al.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake
City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That Subdivision A of Section 3 of an ordinance
passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City August 28,
1912, granting a franchise on First West Street to T. W. Armstrong,
et al., be, and the same is hereby amended so as to read as
follows:
(a) No more than three freight oars (except during
construction of the road shall be hauled in any one train
within the city limits, except between the hours of 10 P. M.
and 6 A. M.; nor shall any oval, lime, rook, timber or live
stook be placed on any siding for the purpose of loading or
unloading same on the street.
SECTION 2. The provisions of this ordinance shall be accepted
in writting, filed with the City Recorder of Salt Lake City, by the
present owners of said franchise, to -wit, the Salt Lake and Utah
Railroad Company, within thirty days from the passage thereof,
otherwise this ordinance shall be null and void.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first
publication.
