MOTION 1 – CONTINUE PUBLIC HEARING AND ADOPT SINGLE ITEM
I move that the Council continue the public hearing and adopt an ordinance amending the Fiscal Year
2023 final budget of Salt Lake City including the employment staffing document only for item E-1 as
shown on the motion sheet.
Staff note: Council Members do not need to read the individual items being approved below; they are
listed for reference. Also, the continued public hearing will have new advertising. The budget
amendment remains open. The Council will consider other items at a future date.
E-1: Treasury Emergency Rental Assistance Program Additional Resources ($2 Million Grant Fund)
- $2 Million for Salt Lake City tenant rental assistance through the Utah Rent Relief Program
