RE: ORDINANCE: JUSTICE COURT REALIGNMENT
MOTION i — ADOPT ORDINANCE
I move that the Council adopt an ordinance amending chapters 2.02 and 2.84 of the Salt Lake City
Code to address changes in Utah law regarding justice courts and to implement necessary
corresponding adjustments establishing the Justice Court as an independent branch of
government.
MOTION 2 — NOT ADOPT
I move that the Council not adopt the ordinance.
