Home My WebLink AboutProposed Ordinance - 4/30/2024SALT LAKE CITY ORDINANCE No. of 2024 (An ordinance amending the Salt Lake City Consolidated Fee Schedule to modify certain fees regarding the use of Salt Lake City's recreational facilities.) WHEREAS, on May 17, 2011 the City Council adopted Ordinances 2011-23, 2011-24 and 2011-25 to authorize and create the Salt Lake City Consolidated Fee Schedule; and WHEREAS, it is now proposed that the Salt Lake City Consolidated Fee Schedule be amended to modify certain fees regarding the use of specified recreational facilities that Salt Lake City ("City") makes available to the public, as shown in the attached Exhibit A and Exhibit B; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds (i) the fees set forth in Exhibit A and Exhibit B are necessary, reasonable, and equitable in relation to regulatory and service costs incurred by the City; and (ii) adoption of this ordinance reasonably furthers the welfare of the citizens of Salt Lake City. NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah: SECTION 1. That the Salt Lake City Consolidated Fee Schedule shall be, and hereby is, amended, in pertinent part, to reflect the fees, and corresponding fee information, related to Athletic Facility Reservations set forth in the attached Exhibit A. SECTION 2. That the Salt Lake City Consolidated Fee Schedule shall be, and hereby is, amended, in pertinent part, to reflect the fees, and corresponding fee information, related to the implementation of various twilight golf fees as set forth in the attached Exhibit B. SECTION 3. That a copy of the amended Salt Lake City Consolidated Fee Schedule shall be published on the official Salt Lake City website. SECTION 4. That this ordinance shall become effective upon publication. Passed by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah, this day of 92024.
