Proposed Resolution - 10/9/2024REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF SALT LAKE CITY RESOLUTION NO Sugx Hot ePrcperty Di po4tirntoSalt LalieCity Carper Eflcn RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF SALT LAKE CITY APPROVING THE TERMS OF THE DISPOSITION TO SALT LAKE CITY CORPORATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED IN SUGAR HOUSE. WHEREAS, in 2021, the Redevelopment Agency of Salt Lake City's Board of Directors (Bawd) adopted an amended Property Disposition Policy, R-6-2021, requiring that any sales price of RDA -owned property discounted more than 10% of fair market value be subject to approval by a majority vote of the Board. WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency (RDA) owns certain real property at approximately 1085 East Simpson Avenue, 1095 East Simpson Avenue, and 2234 South Highland Drive associated with the following parcel numbers: 16-20-252-001-0000, 16-20-252- 002-0000, 16-20-252-003-0000, and 16-20-252-008-0000. These parcels are also known as the RDA Properties. WHEREAS, the RDA, Salt Lake City Corporation (City), and the Utah Transit Authority are cooperatively working togetherto expand the S-Line so that the line terminates at Highland Drive (PrcjEct). WHEREAS, as part of the expansion of the S-Line, the parties desire to utilize part of the RDA Properties forthe Project. A depiction of this portion of Property is attached as Exhibit A (Prcpe'ty). WHEREAS, the RDA desires to transfer the Property to the City at fully reduced sales price in exchange forthe City utilizing the Property forthe Project. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by a majority of the Board of Directors of the Redevelopment Agency of Salt Lake City that the Board hereby authorizes the disposition of the Property to the City for$00.00.
