(An ordinance amending the Salt Lake City Consolidated Fee Schedule to modify the Rate
Stabilization Fees regarding the Salt Lake City’s Sanitary Sewer Utilities and Water.)
WHEREAS, on May 17, 2011 the City Council adopted Ordinances 2011-23, 2011-24
and 2011-25 to authorize and create the Salt Lake City Consolidated Fee Schedule; and
WHEREAS, it is now proposed that the Salt Lake City Consolidated Fee Schedule be
amended to modify certain fees regarding the Rate Stabilization Fees for Sanitary Sewer and
Water utilities, as shown in the attached Exhibit A and Exhibit B; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds (i) the amendment to the fees set forth in Exhibit A
and Exhibit B are necessary, reasonable, and equitable in relation to regulatory and service costs
incurred by the City; and (ii) adoption of this ordinance reasonably furthers the welfare of the
citizens of Salt Lake City.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That the Salt Lake City Consolidated Fee Schedule shall be, and hereby is,
amended, in pertinent part, to reflect the fees, and corresponding fee information, related to the
Rate Stabilization Fee for Sanitary Sewer Utilities set forth in the attached Exhibit A.
SECTION 2. That the Salt Lake City Consolidated Fee Schedule shall be, and hereby is,
amended, in pertinent part, to reflect the fees, and corresponding fee information, related to the
Rate Stabilization Fee for Water set forth in the attached Exhibit B.
SECTION 3. That a copy of the amended Salt Lake City Consolidated Fee Schedule shall
be published on the official Salt Lake City website.
SECTION 4. That this ordinance shall become effective upon publication.
SECTION 5. That any fee waiver issued by Salt Lake City Department of Public

Utilities will be included in a subsequent budget or budget amendment.
