(Vacating a -portio-n of an east-west alley running
between Charlton and Crandall Avenues extending
east to the rear of the property at 1153 Crandall Avenue)
AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF AN ALLEY LOCATED IN SALT
LAKE CITY, UTAH.
Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City , Utah:
SECTION 1. That alley located in Salt Lake City, Utah, be
and the same hereby is VACATED and declared no longer to be
public property for use as a street, avenue, alley or pedestrian
way.
SECTION 2. Said alley is more particularly described as
follows :
Commencing at the northwest corner of Lot 5, Block
1 , of said Hillcrest Second Addition , a subdivi-
sion of Lot 7 Block 27, Ten Acre Plat "A" B.F.S. , -�
said corner also being- on the east right of way
line of the Jordan and Salt Lake City Canal and g' +
the south line of said alley ; thence east along # {
the said south line 208. 30 feet to the northeast 1
corner of Lot 10 8f said Block 1; thence north
16. 0 feet to the north line of said alley ; thence
west 201.09 feet to the east line of said canal
right of way; thence S 24*15 ' W along said right cu
of way , 17. 55 feet to the point of beginning .
RESERVATIONS. Said vacation is expressly made: SUBJECT TO 00
all existing rights of way and easements of all public utilities coj
of any and every description now located on, in, under or over

ALSO SUBJECT TO the rights of entry thereon for the purposes
of obtaining , altering , replacing , removing , repairinq or

Said vacation is also SUBJECT TO any existing rights of way
or easements of private third parties.
SECTION 3. EFFECTIVE DATE. This Ordinance shall become
effective when recorded with the Office of the Salt Lake County
Recorder .
