RE: MOTION SHEET – RESOLUTION: AIRPORT REVENUE BONDS, SERIES 2021A AND
SERIES 2021B
MOTION – Adopt the Resolution
I move that the Council adopt the resolution to:
o Authorize up to $1 billion of airport revenue bonds to finance capital
improvements to the Salt Lake City International Airport;
o Authorize certain officials and officers to approve the final terms and provision
of the bonds within the parameters in the resolution;
o Authorize and approve the execution and delivery of a third supplemental trust
indenture, a bond purchase agreement, and a continuing disclosure agreement.
o Provide for the publication of notice of a July 13, 2021, public hearing to receive
comment from the public with respect to the issuance of the bonds, and the
potential economic impact the capital improvements will have on the private
sector;
o Provide for the running of a contest period; and
o Authorize all other necessary actions.
