Salt Lake City, Utah, pursuant to
Petition 400-309)
AN ORDINANCE VACATING MIDLAND STREET BETWEEN 1900 NORTH
AND 2300 NORTH, IN SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH, PURSUANT TO
PETITION NO . 400-309.
Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City,
Utah:
SECTION 1 . That Midland Street between 1900 North and
2300 North in Salt Lake City, Utah, be, and the same hereby
is, VACATED and declared no longer to be public property for
use as a street, avenue, alley or pedestrian way.
SECTION 2 . Said street is more particularly described
as follows :
Commencing at the southwest corner of Midland and
2300 North Streets, said point being north 193 . 0
feet from the southeast corner Lot 24, Block 1
Midland Five Acre Plat Addition, a subdivision in
Sections 15, 22 and 23, T1N, R1W Salt Lake Base
and Meridian and running thence south along the J �G
west line of Midland Street 2522 . 9 feet to the
northwest corner of 1900 North Street, said point
also being south 33 . 9 feet from the southeast
corner Lot 16; thence east 66. 0 feet to the east
line of Midland Street; thence north along the
east line of Midland Street 2522 . 9 feet to the
southeast corner of Midland and 2300 North
Streets; thence west 66. 0 feet to the point of
beginning.
RESERVATIONS . Said vacation is expressly made :
SUBJECT TO all existing rights of way and easements of all
public utilities of any and every description now located
on, in, under or over the confines of the above-described
real property.
ALSO SUBJECT TO the rights of entry thereon for the
purposes of obtaining, maintaining, altering, replacing,
repairing, removing or rerouting said utilities and all of
them, including the City' s water and sewer facilities . Said
vacation is subject to any existing rights of way or
easements of private third parties .
SECTION 3 . EFFECTIVE DATE. This ordinance shall take
effect upon publication.
Passed by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah,
this 4th day of February , 1986.
