(City Creek Canyon)
AN ORDINANCE CHAPTER 4 OF TITLE 49 OF THE REVISED ORDINANCES
OF SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH, 1965, RELATING TO CITY CREEK CANYON BY
ADDING NEW SECTIONS 49-4-13 AND 49-4-14.
Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah :
SECTION 1 . That Chapter 4 of Title 49 of the Revised
Ordinances of Salt Lake City , Utah, be, and the same hereby is
amended by adding new sections 13 and 14 relating to City Creek
Canyon, to read as follows :
Sec. 49-4-13 . City Creek reservations required . City Creek
Canyon will be closed to public vehicular traffic except by
reservations and payment of fees for the use of canyon picnic
facilities.
Section 49-4-14. City Creek picnic facilities reservation
fee. Any person or group desiring to reserve picnic facilities
shall. pay a fee for the use of such facilities according to the
following schedule :
( 1 ) Small picnic sites $ 2 .50
( 2 ) Regular picnic sites 5.00
( 3 ) Larger group sites 10. 00
(4 ) Lower Rotary ( 7A) with
small bowery 15. 00
( 5 ) Upper rotary ( 10 ) with
large bowery 30 .00
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first
publication.
Passed by the City Council of Salt Lake City , Utah,
this 5TH day of APRIL , 1983 .
