ORDINANCE NO. 16 OF 2000
(Approving the honorary name of"Poplar Grove Boulevard"
for 400 South Street between Interstate 15 and Redwood Road,
pursuant to Petition No. 400-99-62.)
WHEREAS, Salt Lake City has received Petition No. 400-99-62 relating to the change of
name of 400 South Street between Interstate 15 and Redwood Road to "Poplar Grove
Boulevard;" and
WHEREAS, the City Council believes it appropriate to change the name on an honorary
basis without affecting the official name of the street.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That the honorary name of"Poplar Grove Boulevard" shall be and hereby
is adopted for 400 South Street between Interstate 15 and Redwood Road.
SECTION 2. Effective Date. This ordinance shall become effective on the date of its
first publication.
Passed by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah, this 11th day ofApril
2000.
