AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PUBLIC ALLEY LOCATED WITHIN THE
GILMER SQUARE SUBDIVISION. SAID ALLEY IS 13 FEET WIDE AND RUNS
SOUTH FROM MICHIGAN AVENUE FOR 281 .22 FEET TO HERBERT AVENUE ,
APPROXIMATELY 133 FEET EAST OF 11TH EAST IN SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH.
WHEREAS, the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah, finds
after a public hearing that the City's def_easible fee interest in
the alley described below which was formally dedicated within the
Gilmer Square Subdivision is no longer necessary for use as a
public alleyway and that the vacation of said alley described
below will not be adverse to the general public 's interest.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the City Council of Salt
Lake City, Utah :
SECTON 1 . ALLEY VACATION. An alley located in the Gilmer
Square Subdivision running south from Michigan Avenue to Herbert
Avenue for approximately 281 .22 feet and 133 feet east of llth
East, which is the subject of Petition No. 331 of 1982, more
particularly described below, be and the same hereby is vacated
and declared no longer to be needed or available for public use
as a public alley:
Commencinq at the northeast corner of Lot 28 ,
Block 1, Amended Plat of Gilmer Square Subdivision
being part of Block 17-A, 5 Acre Plat A, Big Field
Survey; thence east 13 feet to the northwest
corner of Lot 29 of said subdivision; thence south 4, �Y`�.

southeast corner of Lot 18 of said subdivision;

RESERVATIONS. Said vacaton is expressly subject to all

above described property and also subject to the rights of entry
thereon for the purpose of obtaining , altering , replacing ,
removing, repairing or rerouting said utilities and all of them.
Said vacation is also subject to any existing rights of way
