AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PUBLIC ALLEY LOCATED WITHIN THE
WATERLOO ADDITION SUBDIVISION. SAID ALLEY IS 13 FEET WIDE AND
RUNS SOUTH FROM KENSINGTON AVENUE FOR 221 FEET TO BRYAN AVENUE ,
APPROXIMATELY 125 FEET EAST OF 3RD EAST IN SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH.
WHEREAS, the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah, finds
after a public hearing that the City 's def-easible fee interest in
the alley described below which was formally dedicated within the
Waterloo Addition Subdivision is no longer necessary for use as a
public alleyway and that the vacation of said alley described
below will not be adverse to the general public 's interest.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the City Council of Salt
Lake City, Utah :
SECTION 1 . ALLEY VACATION. An alley located in the
Waterloo Addition Subdivision running south from Kensington
Avenue to Bryan Avenue for approximately 221 feet and 125 feet
east of 3rd East, which is the subject of Petition No. 323 of
1982 , more particularly described below, be and the same hereby
is vacated and declared no longer to be needed or available for
public use as a public alley:
Beginning at the southeast corner of Lot 27, Block
'ii 2 Waterloo Addition, a subdivision of Block 13 , 5
' Acre Plat "A" Big Field Survey; thence North 221
feet, to the northeast corner of Lot 34 of said , i� ' r"R

existing rights of way and easements of all public utilities of

above described property and also subject to the rights of entry
thereon for the purpose of obtaining, altering, replacing,
removing , repairing or rerouting said utilities and all of them.
Said vacation is also subject to any existing rights of way
or easements of private third parties.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days after
the date of its first publication.
Passed by the City Council of Salt Lake City this loth day
of May 1983 .
