(Renaming Sorensen Park
to Poplar Grove Park)
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 15.04.190, SALT LAKE CITY
CODE, RELATING TO THE DESCRIPTION OF SORENSEN PARK.
Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That Section 15.04. 190, Salt Lake City Code, be,
and the same hereby is, amended to read as follows:
Sec. 15.04. 190 Description of Poplar Grove Park.
Poplar Grove Park is described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the east line of llth West Street
and the south line of Seventh South Street, said point being
located in the northwest quarter of the northwest quarter of
Section 11, T. 1S. , R. 1W. , Salt Lake Base and Meridian, and
running thence east 132.0 feet; thence south 30.0 feet; thence
east 132.0 feet to the west line of Emery Street; thence south
along said line 673.0 feet; thence west 132.0 feet; thence south
263.0 feet to the north line of Indiana Avenue; thence west
132.0 feet to said east line of llth West Street; thence north
966 feet to the point of beginning.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first
publication.
