No. 3 of 1988
(Amending Section 51-19A-1( 5) allowing Class "C"
beer and/or Class "B" private club licenses
as an attendant use to a permitted conference
center in an "R-D" District pursuant to Petition
No. 400-576-87
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 51-19A-1( 5) ALLOWING
CLASS "C" BEER AND/OR CLASS "B" PRIVATE CLUB LICENSES AS AN
ATTENDANT USE TO A PERMITTED CONFERENCE CENTER IN AN "R-D"
DISTRICT PURSUANT TO PETITION NO. 400-576-87.
WHEREAS the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah, has
held public hearings before its own body and before the
Planning Commission concerning the subject of allowing Class
"C" beer and/or Class "B" private club licenses as attendant
incidental uses in an "R-D" District and believes the
following amendment to be appropriate. Therefore, the City
Council of Salt Lake City, Utah, hereby adopts the following
amendment to Section 51-19A-1( 5) .
Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City,
Utah:
SECTION 1. That Section 51-19A-1( 5 ) of the Revised
Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, as amended,
relating to R-D zoning district be, and the same hereby is,
amended as follows:
Sec. 51-19A-1( 5) . Concessions and services which are
provided for the convenience of the occupants of the
buildings consisting of retail uses incidental to and in
support of the above permitted uses and private clubs
holding Class "C" beer and/or Class "B" private club
licenses attendant to a conference center; provided they are
located within a main building and there is no exterior
evidence of such accessory uses such as signs or display
windows.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect
immediately on the date of its first publication.
Passed by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah,
this 5th day of January 1988.
