(Amending Section 9.08.010 relating to
definitions of garbage and refuse)
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 9.08.010 OF THE SALT LAKE
CITY CODE, RELATING TO DEFINITIONS OF GARBAGE AND REFUSE.
Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City,
Utah:
SECTION 1. That Section 9.08.010 of the Revised
Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, relating to garbage and
refuse, be, and hereby is amended as follows:
Sec. 9.08.010 Definitions.

(0) Public Buildings and Places. "Public buildings
and places" shall mean office buildings, theaters, garages,
auto camps, hotels, clubs, schools, hospitals or other
places of similar character but shall not mean any building
owned by Salt Lake City Corporation.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect on its
first publication.
Passed by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah,
this 9th day of June 1988.
