(Wild Wave Pool Entrance Fees)
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 9 OF TITLE 27 OF THE REVISED
ORDINANCES OF SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH, 1965 AS AMENDED, BY ADDING
NEW SECTION 27-9-7 THERETO, RELATING TO WILD WAVE POOL ENTRANCE
FEES.
Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That Chapter 9 of Title 27 of the Revised
Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965 as amended, relating to
fees for use of facilities, be, and the same hereby is, amended
by adding new Section 27-9-7, relating to Wild Wave Pool entrance
fees, as follows:
Sec. 27-9-7. Wild Wave Pool entrance fees. There is hereby
imposed the following admission fee for entrances to the wild
wave swimming pool:
(a) General admission
(1) Adult $3.00
(2) Child $2.00
(3) Infant Free
(b) Evening discount twilight swim - after 5:00 p.m.
(1) Adult $2.75
(2) Child $1.75
(3) Infant Free
(c) Family season pass $125.00
(d) Single season pass (over the age
of 2) $65.00
(e) Group rates
(1) Small group 10-30 people
a. Adult $2.75
b. Child $1.75
C. Infant Free
(2) Large group 30-300 people
a. Adult $2.50
b. Child $1.50
C. Infant Free
(3) 300 or more - private reservations
a. Adult $2.50
b. Child $1.50
C. Infant Free
Definitions. The following words, whenever used in this
section, shall be defined as follows:
1. "Adult" shall mean any person over the age of 12.
2. "Child" shall mean any person age 3 through 12.
3. "Infant" shall mean any person under the age of 3.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its first
publication.
Passed by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah,
this 18th day of May 1982.
