AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 16 , TITLE 5, OF THE REVISED
ORDINANCES OF SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH, 1965, AS AMENDED, BY ADDING A
NEW SUBSECTION 5-16-2 ( 5) THERETO, RELATING TO PERMIT
REQUIREMENTS.
Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1 . That Title 5 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt
Lake City, Utah, 1965, as amended, be, and the same hereby is,
amended by ADDING a new subsection 5-16-2( 5 ) , relating to Permit
requirements.
Sec. 5-16-2 ( 5) . A permit may be granted for temporary
fireworks stands or trailers which meet the provisions for sale
of fireworks as contained in Section 20-38-5, Revised Ordinances
of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, as amended, and the applicable
zoning ordinances.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon the date
of its first publication.
Passed by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah, this
14th day of June , 1983 .
