SALT LAKE CITY ORDINANCE
No. 39 of 1983
(City Employee Compensation Plan)
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 25-1 -1 OF THE REVISED ORDI-
NANCES OF SALT LAKE CITY , UTAH, 1965, AS LAST AMENDED BY BILL NO.
51 OF 1982, RELATING TO COMPENSATION OF CITY OFFICERS AND
EMPLOYEES.
Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1 . That Section 25-1-1 of the Revised Ordinances of
Salt Lake City , Utah, as last amended by Bill No. 51 of 1982 , be,
and is hereby amended to read as follows:
Sec. 25-1-1 . Compensation Program Adopted . The Compensa-
tion Administration Program for Salt Lake City Corporation
Employees, dated July 1 , 1983 , is hereby adopted as the official
compensation plan for Salt Lake City employees. Three copies of
said plan shall be maintained in the City Recorder's office for
public inspection The provisions of said plan shall be effective
under the terms thereof commencing July 1 , 1983 , except as it has
been or may be amended from time to time by the City Council by
resolution or upon approval of Memoranda. of Understanding between
the City and recognized employee bargaining agents.
The plan herein adopted and any amendment or modification
thereto, shall not apply to officers or employees whose employ-
ment terminated prior to publication of this ordinance or to the
adoption of any amendment or modification to the plan.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon July 1 ,
1983.
Passed by the City Council of Salt Lake City , Utah,
this 14th day of June , 1983 .
