(Vacation- of a 12-foot alley remnant running
east from Beverly Street [1380 East] at
approximately 2675 South)
AN ORDINANCE VACATING the remaining western portion of an
inverted T-shaped alley located within the Highland Park Plat "A"
Subdivision as said 12-foot alley runs east from Beverly Street
(1380 East) at approximately 2675 South (being 125 feet north of
Stratford Avenue) in Salt Lake City, Utah.
WHEREAS, the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah, finds
that the City's defeasible fee interest in the alley described
below, which was formally dedicated within the Highland Park Plat
"A" Subdivision, is no longer necessary for use as a public
alleyway, and that the vacation of said alley remnant described
below will not be adverse to the general public's interest.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the City Council of Salt
Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That the western leg of a 12-foot wide alley
located in the Highland Park Plat "A" Subdivision running east
from Beverly Street (1380 East) at approximately 2675 South,
(being 125 feet north of Stratford Avenue) which is the subject
of Petition No. 250 of 1981 , more particularly described below,
be, and the same hereby is, VACATED and declared no longer to be
needed or available for use as a public alley:
COMMENCING at the southwest corner of Lot 1173,
Highland Park Plat "A" Subdivision, a subdivision of
Section 21, T1S, R1E, SLB&M; thence East 137 feet;
thence South 12 feet, more or less, to the rear line
of Lot 1167 of said subdivision; thence West along the
south side of said alley line 137 feet, more or less,
to the east line of Beverly Street; North 12 feet,
more or less, to the point of beginning.

Said vacation is EXPRESSLY SUBJECT TO all existing g
rights of way and easements of all public utilities of c'
any and every description now located on, in, under or
over the confines of the above-described property, and C)
ALSO SUBJECT TO the rights of entry thereon for the
purpose of obtaining, altering, replacing, removing,
repairing, or rerouting said utilities and all of

of ways or easements of private third parties.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect thirty (30)
days after the date of its first publication.
