048 of 2002 - amending the code regarding window wells in side yard areas 0 02-1 0 02-26 SALT LAKE CITY ORDINANCE No. 48 of 2002 (Amending the Salt Lake City Zoning Code Regarding Window Wells in Side Yard Areas) AN ORDNANCE AMENDING SECTION 21A.36.020.B OF THE SALT LAKE CITY ZONING CODE REGARDING WINDOW WELLS IN SIDE YARD AREAS,PURSUANT TO PETITION NO. 400-01-26. WHEREAS, the Salt Lake City zoning code contains restrictions as to items that are or are not allowed in side yard areas; and WHEREAS, the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah, finds after public hearings before its own body and before the Planning Commission that portions of the Salt Lake City Zoning Code which relate to window wells in side yard areas should be amended and that such amendments are in the best interest of the City; NOW, THEREFORE,be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah: SECTION 1. That the table located at Section 21A.36.020.B of the Salt Lake City Code, entitled"Obstructions in Required Yards," shall be and hereby is amended as set forth on Exhibit"A" attached hereto. SECTION 2. Effective Date. This ordinance shall become effective on the date of its first publication.
