Petition No. 400-479) RECORD,R'S OFFICE
AN ORDINANCE VACATING AN ALLEY LOCATED BETWEEN EDITH
AVENUE AND 1300 SOUTH AND 200 AND 300 EAST STREETS IN SALT LAKE
CITY,UTAH,PURSUANT TO PETITION NO. 400-479-86.
Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake Citeses h:
SECTION 1. That the alley located between Edith Avenue and 1300 South and
200 and 300 East Streets in Salt Lake City,Utah, be, and the same hereby is, VACATED
and declared no longer to be public property for use as a street, avenue, alley or
pedestrian way.
SECTION 2. Said alley is more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point located at the Southeast corner of Lot 7, Jackson J,� r Z
Square Subdivision in Block 21, 5 Acre Plat A, Big Field Survey, thence
North 125 feet along the east property line of said Lot 7, thence N 45° W f
7.07 feet to the South alley line, thence East 18 feet to the East line of said
alley, thence South 130 feet along the west property lines of Lots 3, 2, 1 to
the Southwest corner of Lot 1, thence West 13 feet to the point of
beginning.
RESERVATIONS. said vacation is expressly made: SUBJECT TO all existing
rights of way and easements of all public utilities of any and every description now
located on, in, under or over the confines of the above-described real property.
ALSO SUBJECT TO the rights of entry thereon for the purposes of obtaining,
maintaining, altering, replacing, repairing, removing or rerouting said utilities and all of

them, including the City's water and sewer facilities. Said vacation is also SUBJECT TO W

any existing rights of way or easements of private third parties.
SECTION 3. EFFECTIVE DATE. This ordinance shall take effect upon
