(Closing a portion of the City's Right-of-way
North of the Sidewalk on 600 South
Bordering Trolley Square pursuant
to Petition No. 400-487-86)
AN ORDINANCE CLOSING A PORTION OF THE CITY'S RIGHT-OF-WAY
NORTH OF THE SIDEWALK ALONG 600 SOUTH STREET BORDERING
TROLLEY SQUARE IN SALT LAKE CITY,UTAH.
WHEREAS, the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah, finds after public hearing
that the City's interest in the public right-of-way described below is not necessary for use
by the public as a right-of-way and that closure of said right-of-way will not be adverse
to the general public's interest nor divest the City of title to the property without
subsequent documents of transfer.
NOW,THEREFORE, Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That a portion of the right-of-way along 600 South Street north of
the sidewalk bordering Trolley Square, which is the subject of Petition No. 400-487-86
and which is more particularly described below, be, and the same hereby is, CLOSED
and declared no longer to be needed or available for use as a public right-of-way, with
the title remaining with the City until subsequent sale for market value%
Beginning at the South West Corner of Lot 4, Block 25, Plat 4 of the 1
Official Survey of Plat B, Salt Lake City Survey; thence N 89°57'29" E l^
660.277 feet along the south lot line of lots 4,3,2 and 1 to the South East r"
Corner of Lot 1, Block 25 Plat 4 of the Official Survey of Plat B, Salt
Lake City Survey; thence S 00*01'09" E 7.000 feet; thence S 89°57'29" W '' I`"Al

property survey of Trolley Square Dev'r, by E.W. Allen and Associates of
Salt Lake City, Utah containing 0.107 acres more or less of public Right-

SECTION 2. RESERVATIONS AND DISCLAIMERS. The above closure is `p
expressly made SUBJECT TO all existing rights-of-way and easements of all public
utilities of any and every description now located on and under or over the confines of
the property and also SUBJECT TO the rights of entry thereon for the purposes of
maintaining, altering, repairing, removing or rerouting said utilities, including the City's
water and sewer facilities, and all of them. Said closure is also SUBJECT TO any
existing rights-of-way or easements of private third parties.
SECTION 3. EFFECTIVE DATE. This ordinance shall become effective on the
date of its first publication.
Passed by the City Council of Salt Lake City,Utah, this 11 th day of
