(Rezoning certain property at approximately
865 South 200 East from Commercial "C-3" to
Commercial "C-1" )
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 51-12-2 OF THE REVISED
ORDINANCES OF SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH, 1965, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO
ZONING AND FIXING OF BOUNDARIES OF USE DISTRICTS.
WHEREAS, in response to Petition No . 400-516-87 the City
Council of Salt Lake City, Utah, has held public hearings before
its own body and before the Planning Commission, and has taken
into consideration citizen testimony, filings , and demographic
details of the area as part of its own deliberation. Pursuant to
these deliberations , the Council has concluded that it is
appropriate to rezone a parcel located at approximately 865 South
200 East from Commercial "C-3" to Commercial "C-1" as part of an
agreed upon rezoning partially implemented by Bill No . 46 of 1987
which requires certain conditions.
Therefore, the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah, hereby
adopts the following amendment to the Use District provisions of
Title 51 .
Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That the Use District Map , as adopted by Section
51-12-2 , Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City , Utah, 1965, as
amended , relatinq to the fixing of boundaries of Use Districts ,
be, and the same hereby is, AMENDED as follows :
Sec . 51-12-2 . BOUNrARIES OF USE DISTRICTS. That the
following described parcel of property lying at approximately 865
South 200 East be rezoned and the Use District Map amende ac

Commercial "C-3 " to Commercial "C-1"
Commencing at a point in the East line of 200 East
Street, said point being 132. 5 feet North of the iL
northeast corner of 200 East and 900 South Streets . �
and running thence North along the East line of -
200 East Street 63 feet ; thence East 148. 5 feet to .
the centerline of an existing alley ; thence south
along the centerline of said alley 63 feet ; thence
West 14 8. 5 feet to the point of beginning .
SECTION 2. EFFECTIVE CATE. This ordinance shall become
effective immediately upon publication. The City Recorder is
instructed to not publish this ordinance until the Mayor
certifies that the conditions set forth in Section 2 of Bill 46
have been fully complied with. In the event such conditions are
not compliled with within a year the Mayor may extend the time
for performance of the conditions for an additional year. If the
conditions are not met as specified above this ordinance shall
become of no effect and null and void .
